The 2014 Young Musician of the Year competition was a great success. A wide variety of music was heard from the young musicians, from classical to ratite. played with great skill on a large range of instruments including piano, cello, trombone, oboe, cornet and baritone horn.
An audience of family and friends were kept well entertained throughout the evening.

The judges for the evening were music instructors Pamela Cook and Douglas Watt, they had the enviable task of deciding the various awards for the evening.

Overall Winner – Jessica Hay

We look forward to seeing how Jessica gets on in Perth in Spring next year, when she goes on to represent the club in the district heat.
