CCTV image of a dark-coloured Audi dtectives believe is linked to recent raids on North-east cash machines.

Detectives investigating raids on cash machines in the North-east have appealed for help in identifying a car believed to be linked to the thefts.

ATM machines were targeted on Sunday, September 15, at Halifax Bank of Scotland, Burn Lane, Inverurie, the following day at Clydesdale Bank, Market Square, Oldmeldrum and on Thursday, September 19, at ScotMid, North Deeside Road, Bieldside.

A dark-coloured Audi saloon was seen in the area around the time of each incident. (A CCTV image above)

Detective Sergeant David Howieson said: “We are keen to identify the occupants of a dark coloured Audi saloon which was seen in the vicinity of incidents in Inverurie, Oldmeldrum, and Bieldside where ATM machines were targeted.

“I would urge members of the public to view the images we have released and to contact Police if they can identify the vehicle or if they have seen a similar vehicle in suspicious circumstances, particularly in the vicinity of ATM machines.”
