Imagine the town with fewer shops, overcrowded schools, no relief to traffic in the town, the same but poorly maintained parks… And still more houses with no new facilities.

The Oldmeldrum Future Visions Group, is made up of members of our community who are 
gathering together your views to make them known to the council, NHS, police and government about what we want for our town and surrounding settlements.
What another useless poll, God give me strength, the council the planners are total mince, couldnae organise anything, get some people who care will shout from rooftops until something is done
Hi Mo This is NOT an Aberdeenshire Council poll. This is a community run, local information gathering. It is being done to allow us to know the extent of local opinion, which will help us in working to get Aberdeenshire to respond to local needs.

I found this ‘community’ survey only by accident when I was looking for something else – funny how these surveys, meant for the community,are not properly communicated to the audience elect.
Besides, I was only looking for someone to complain to about the speeding traffic, lorries and cars through the A947 and B9170, that’s something that needs addressing before more shops and houses.

We would welcome suggestions where to circulate it. We have little or no budget as this is not a Council project but a community one.

The survey asks you your opinions on traffic and transport as well as houses. It asks about environment, eductaion and other aspects of what makes Oldmeldrum and district a good or not so goo place to live.
