The nursery class at Gordon Schools Huntly was subject to flooding last night.  Unfortunately a mistake was made in the warning system, with parents of Meldrum Academy informed by text message this morning that the nursery in Meldrum primary school was closed for the week – this is absolutely not the case.  Although the education service is investigating the error, the Council are not yet sure of how this happened.  The Aberdeenshire Council education service is texting parents in Meldrum today to clarify the situation.
