Several local shops and businesses have now altered their normal working hours.

Unfortunately some of the links below are for Facebook sites. You don’t have to be a member of facebook to read these posts but facebook will pester you to join. You should be able to ignore this and click through but will still have a banner at the bottom of the page.

  • Meldrum Pharmacy – Meldrum pharmacy is opening between 10 – 12 and 2 – 5pm to allow staff to put away stock and try to catch up a bit.
    From all the staff in Meldrum Chemist. We appreciate your patience while we process your requests. However due to the sheer volume of prescriptions and lack of space we are struggling to keep up with the demand. The queueing system was designed to keep our staff safe but also allow us to try to reduce the waiting time. Please be assured we are going as fast as we can to get it all done and out to you. A little patience and understanding would be very much appreciated at this difficult time.
  • Tesco Inverurie – Open as normal but various counters closed. See link for details and NHS Eldery/Vulnerable shopping times.
    25/3/20 Tesco are now operating a one in one out policy with 50 customers allowed into the shop at any one time. One person and one trolley – no family groups.
  • Morrisons Inverurie – Public opening 8am – 8pm every day. NHS Staff hour 7am – 8am Mon-Sat
  • Lidl Inverurie – Our stores are open, but make sure you check our store finder just in case your local store’s hours have changed.
  • Keystore in the Square – 25/03/20 – Due to the current circumstances KeyStore has changed opening hours. 7.30am – 7.00pm (Mon- Sat) 8.00am – 3.00pm (Sun). Also to ensure we are adhering to social distancing we ask that a maximum 3 people are in the shop at any one time
  • Oldmeldrum COOP – will be closing earlier than usual to give colleagues the chance to replenish shelves as well as giving them a well needed rest. Mon – Sat close at 8pm. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Presly Butchers – Update 26/3/20 – Shop now closed and only going to operate a DELIVERY/COLLECTION service. To place an order call the shop on 01651 872220. We will take payment over the phone and deliver your order by ringing the doorbell and leaving the items on the doorstep
  • Berry’s of Oldmeldrum – Temporarily closed – manning the phone’s for any queries that you might have between 10am -2pm
  • Oldmeldrum Dental Practice – Closed for six weeks – The practice will be closed for six weeks and there will be an on-call consultation for pain emergencies only.
  • Meadows Vets – not allowing any clients to enter the practice premises, phone the practice 01651 872481 to let us know you have arrived and wait in your car for your appointment.
  • Sellars Agriculture Ltd. – All Sellars Depots remain open. We are operating our usual opening hours from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12 noon on a Saturday. 
  • Oldmeldrum Golf Club – Closed until further notice with immediate effect.
  • TJ’s PIZZA – open as normal for customers collecting and for no-contact, pre-paid deliveries. Also offer deliveries at lunch time, by calling the shop on 01651 871777, or online via Just-Eat.
  • The Redgarth – Temporarily closed
  • Morris’s Hotel – Operating a food takeaway service all day 12-8 pm on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Menus and Specials will be posted Friday morning. Phone Robin & Laura 01651 872251
  • Meldrum House Country Hotel & Golf Course – Temporarily closed – During normal office hours, you will be able to contact the team by phone and email; 01651 872294, reception@meldrumhouse.com.
  • Meldrum Kitchen – temporarily closed from Monday 23rd March until further notice.
  • Hair At The Square – Meldrum – closed from Monday 23rd March until further notice
  • Meldrum Barbers – Closed with immediate effect. Any appointments already booked are cancelled.
  • Fashionista Oldmeldrum – temporarily closed until further notice.
