Haddo Voices are hosting FREE singing workshops which will take place on Sunday 3rd September in Haddo House Hall. All welcome.

Parents are welcome to stay if they wish (depending upon space).

  1. P2 – P5 from 2.00pm until 3.00pm (doors open 1.45pm)
  2. P6 – S6 from 3.30pm until 4.30pm (doors open 3.15pm)

Workshops will be run by the newly appointed Haddo Voices Chorus Master, Kirsty Robertson. Kirsty hails from Glasgow and has a extensive experience working with young voices. She graduated from the University of Glasgow with a 1st class honours Bachelor of Music degree and has also trained as a conductor with choral organisation Sing for Pleasure. She worked as a freelance musician for a number of years with a variety of organisations throughout Scotland and the UK, including the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Reel Kids Music Club, Scottish Opera, South Lanarkshire Council, and the National Children’s Choir of Great Britain.

Kirsty is now Music Development Coordinator at Aberdeen Performing Arts and works across all three venues (His Majesty’s Theatre, The Lemon Tree and the Music Hall). An active singer herself, Kirsty is currently a member of award-winning female chamber choir, Glasgow Madrigirls and is a former member of the University of Glasgow Chapel Choir.
