Enjoy a ‘crafternoon’ in Meldrum

OLDMELDRUM will be the venue for South Aberdeenshire designer Carolyn Anderson’s first craft workshop north of Aberdeen.
The “Crafternoon” will have a Tea Party theme and will be held in Oldmeldrum Town Hall on on Sunday, February 24,. those attending will have the chance to learn how to make a felt flower brooch, cut paper greetings card and a china cake stand made from vintage china, some of which was saved from landfill by being gifted by Haddo House.
Carolyn, who trades under the business name knittykittybangbang, was so impressed by Oldmeldrum Town Hall’s facilities during a recent visit that she decided to extend the area she works in to include Oldmeldrum. Knittykittybangbang currently provide workshops and classes in a range of themes and techniques across Mearns and the Aberdeen area.
The Crafternoon will take place between 2 and 4pm and costs £20 per person which covers all materials plus cake and mocktails.
