Meldrum Amenities Improvement Group’s latest project to start up the “Meldrum Chapter Cycling Without Age” is now well on it’s way with £5000 awarded by the Baillie Gifford Community Awards, administered by Foundation Scotland towards the project. Further match funding applications are in the pipeline and the Group is hopeful that full finance will be in place to establish the Meldrum Chapter by July.

The Meldrum Chapter Cycling Without Age electric trishaw will provide an opportunity for the elderly and those with limited ability in our town to get out and about, meet up with old acquaintances and to feel the wind in their hair. Anyone interested in becoming a Pilot or supporting the project in any way will be most welcome. For the Pilots this is great way for additional exercise. Pilots will be given full training by Cycling Without Age Scotland.
