Consultation launched as Aberdeenshire Council plan large budget cuts
A budget consultation has started in Aberdeenshire for the budget of 2015 to 2016. Aberdeenshire Council normally carry out a consultation meeting each year but have not done so for their next budget preparation now under way. Oldmeldrum Councillor Paul Johnston, has asked residents instead to fill in an online survey to help guide Aberdeenshire Councillors to make some difficult decisions in the face of severe budget cu savings of up to £50 million pounds over the next few years.
The survey, online explores what priorities people have on Council services from education to social service, road and support for local business.
