Festivities in Oldmeldrum 2015 Kintore Pipe Band Carol Singers (Wednesday Wailers) Santa's Sleigh Music from Meldrum Academy Mulled Wine, mince pies and roasted chestnuts and more. Lights Switch on 3pm Sunday 6th Dec Officiating will be Jack Sleigh, honoured local farmer. Come along and join the crowd to kick off the festive season in the town. All done with volunteers so come along and get involved or bring the kids of all ages.

Former Meldrum Academy pupil Graeme Penny recieved the prize for the RGU Best Built Environment Stage 2 Student from Dean of Faculty of Design and Technology Professor John Watson. Meldrum Amenities Improvement Group (MAIG) Yesterday morning, as part of our entry into The Formartine in Bloom Competition, we set up our annual dummies display. This year the theme is "Volunteers" - aimed at recruiting more people to come along and help with the many projects MAIG undertakes. Oldmeldrum bus users have received a boost following the axing of a alterations to services will reinstate a vital public transport link used by local residents to access health facilities in Dyce.
