Dozens turn out for Oldmedlrum Rotary Club charity cycle

MEMBERS of Meldrum Rotary Club gathered at Udny Green last week to take part in the club’s charity fundraising cycle. Over 40 cyclists took part in the 26 mile challenge, which involved a round trip from Udny Green to Methlick, with others tackling a gentler, seven-mile version. Haddo Medical practice meeting packed out

The meeting called by NHS Grampian,in the Melvin Hall, Tarves, to discuss the proposed closure of the Doctor's Surgery in Tarves and cease dispensing medicine in Pitmedden, was attended by a packed audience of over 300. Jean PAULINE (Oldmeldrum/Bourtie) died suddenly but peacefully, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Wednesday, August 8, 2012,.  Jean Pauline (nee Cooper) aged 79 years was the beloved wife of the late Bill Pauline, local Master Butcher and a much loved mum and granny. Aberdeen International Youth Festival – Tarves Concert – 1st August

The 40th Aberdeen International Youth Festival, like previous years have traditionally had concert opportunities in Aberdeenshire for the visiting music groups.  The Melvin Hall at Tarves, Nr Oldmeldrum will be hosting the Tsukuba West Symphonia from Japan.  Wednesday August 1st.
