Standing ovation at sellout concert

Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain ended a superb gig in style at at Meldrum Academy for the 6th Year in the Schools 10 year history. Oldmeldrum lad is a cut above

A 20 year-old butcher from Oldmeldrum is flying the flag for Scotland by successfully becoming one of only three UK finalists in a national competition. Andrew Peter, who works at Davidsons Butchers in Inverurie, began his apprenticeship there less than three years ago and last week was announced as a finalist in The Meat Trade Journal’s UK Young Butcher of the Year. Oldmeldrum Survey results presented by Business Association.

A public meeting of Oldmeldrum Business Association, last night, unveiled the results of a significant survey of residents, shoppers and users of the Town Centre in Oldmeldrum. The Royal British Legion club was the venue for the Association member Pat Robbins to present the analysis of the hundreds of responses to the survey gathered earlier in the year. Dozens turn out for Oldmedlrum Rotary Club charity cycle

MEMBERS of Meldrum Rotary Club gathered at Udny Green last week to take part in the club’s charity fundraising cycle. Over 40 cyclists took part in the 26 mile challenge, which involved a round trip from Udny Green to Methlick, with others tackling a gentler, seven-mile version.
