Meldrum Amenities Improvement Group are hard at work this week getting the town looking great for Meldrum Sports. MAIG is a volunteer association that looks to enhance the town of Oldmeldrum with flower displays, Christmas illuminations and a community garden. They are always looking for volunteers. Singing along for Fun: Come along and join us on Friday 15 June at 2pm: Jim & Marisha Addison will be playing a selection of songs to sing along with. Held in the Church Hall, Albert Road Oldmeldrum. Refreshments will be served: Meldrum & Bourtie Parish Church Religious organisation

picture courtesy of Press and Journal A scout hut which was deliberately torched last summer has been replaced thanks to the generosity of Highland Games organisers. Vandals targeted the hut at the Daviot camp site, near Inverurie, on July 2, disappointing all those who have used it over the years.
