Walking the boundary of the Conservation Area

The Community Council intend to walk the boundary of the Oldmeldrum Conservation Area. This walk will help the CC members to discuss possible changes to the boundary which may be proposed by the Aberdeenshire Council. A review of conservations areas is underway and Article Four of the act will be enforced in future. Report calls for devolution of planning

Community councils should be allowed to take control over local planning decisions, according to a think-tank.
